The aim of the article is to present selected methods of digital filtration and their algorithms used in industry. The article presents examples of the use of digital filtration methods in two areas. The first area of application of filtration covered the issue related to production technology and surface topography. The second area describes examples of the use of filtration in the navigation of automated guided vehicles (AGV) serving production lines. In the research part, selected methods of digital filtration were tested and their effectiveness was determined.
