Seeders are used to place seeds or fertilizer into the soil. These devices are aggregated with agricultural tractors or into larger cultivation and sowing units. Seeders can be divided into two types: mechanical and pneumatic. Sowing in seed drills is carried out using sowing devices, which can be divided into pin and groove devices. The article presents the results of research on the influence of the inclination of the tank and sowing devices in two planes (vertical and horizontal) on the amount of sown granular material. A station with pin sowing devices was designed, used by the AKPIL company from Pilzno. The RockyDEM program based on the Discrete Element Method (DEM) was used for numerical analysis. In order to correctly perform the numerical analysis, the properties of the granular material, i.e. overall dimensions, were first examined. The obtained research results will be used to optimize the self-leveling system of the stand, which has been patented.
