Abstract

The article presents the results of determining mass distribution, rolling resistance as well as aerodynamic drag in an electric scooter type device. The model of motion for a small vehicle with small diameter wheels was not found in available subject literature. As electric scooters are becoming increasingly more popular, it justifies taking up research work to develop a new template for scooter frame geometry. Identifying the dependencies present in the frame construction allows to set standards to improve user safety. The performed analysis attempts to determine the influence of individual geometrical parameters on the driving stability. The entire process of analysis and identification is based on calculations used to develop a new prototype construction of an electric scooter adapted for high driving speed.
