Parametric and generative design are key aspects of modern design, offering faster and more efficient design options compared to traditional methods. This article focuses on an overview of generative design tools in Creo Parametric, Fusion 360, and Rhinoceros software. It delves into a detailed examination of the parametric and generative features of these software tools, comparing their capabilities in terms of modeling, editing speed, dependency on provided data, and the effectiveness of the design process. The article concentrates on creating both parametric and generative models in each software and their practical application in addressing specific design challenges. The results of this research provide an overall understanding of the strengths and limitations of each generative design tool, aiding in a better comprehension of their suitability and effectiveness in practice.
