This contribution deals with noise analysis and its measurement methodology for the Locust 903 skid steer loader in order to reduce the value of current noise measured during earthworks on roads. The work contains the justification of the need to reduce the noise of machines in today's society, an overview of the origin, spread, measurement and impact of noise. It also includes familiarization with a specific method of measurement on construction machines with the help of measuring instruments, and also contains measured, recorded and evaluated noise values in practice of actually manufactured equipment.
