Abstract
The study presents the study of the corn stalk cutting process. For this purpose, a test stand built on a test machine was used, enabling the use of knives with variable geometrical parameters of the blade. The obtained results in the form of shear force values were analysed by subjecting them to multi-criteria ANOVA analysis of variance. In this way, the influence of the input parameters on the value of the shear force was determined. The load state of the knife blade was analysed and, based on the adopted criterion of blade durability and the ANOVA analysis, optimization of the selection of cutting process parameters was carried out.
