The paper deals with the creation of a numerical model and simulation of the basic rotor system in the environment of the MSC.Adams software. The calculations were realized for isotropic and anisotropic shaft mounting in chosen bearings, representing the gearbox of the vehicle. The shaft oscillations caused by the unbalance of the components of the system are examined. The analysis of the bending critical speeds under parallel and opposing excitation and the depiction of the orbits of the center of gravity of the system when passing through these speeds is also elaborated.
