Abstract
Today, liquid rubber has an increasing share in rubber compounds, mainly due to its leading properties. Due to its liquid consistency, liquid rubber cannot be used in a mixture alone and is therefore used in combination with synthetic rubber. Liquid rubber can significantly affect the properties of rubber compounds as well as its vulcanizates. In this work, we studied changes in the investigated parameters of rubber compounds and their vulcanizates. We mixed four experimental tests, where we used different amounts of liquid rubber together with butadiene-styrene rubber in the recipe. Other raw materials as well as the mixing process remained unchanged. We prepared rubber compounds according to general conditions and rules. We measured selected physical and mechanical properties. In this work, we investigated the effect of liquid rubber on the following parameters: RPA, viscosity and we also discussed the DMTA method. We summarized and measured all measured values in the form of graphs and tables for each examined parameter. The authors of the article thank very much for the help of KEGA 001 / TnUAD-4/2022.
