Observation and analysis of the current state of technology concerning manual wheelchairs can lead to conclusion that there is a need for their further development. Implementation of this task requires knowledge and data relating the needs of users. For this reason, the aim of the presented research work was the identification, assessment and prioritization of design parameters for manual wheelchair. As part of the discussed research, a survey was conducted with wheelchair users. On this basis, a data set was aquired and analyzed using Quality Function Deployment (QFD) design through House of Quality (HoQ) tool. On this basis, prioritization of design parameters was carried out. The collected data and results of analysis  can be used as input data in the process of designing manual wheelchairs. They can also be used to assess the effectiveness of existing solutions.
