Abstract
This paper presents the results of research on improving the effectiveness of agglomeration process. Improving effectiveness was obtained as a result of the application of convergent sleeve. Where sleeve is mounted before multi-holes die in a machine to agglomeration dry ice.
The analytical part of research presents the mathematical model which describe the influence of geometrical parameters of the convergent sleeve on the value of axial force is formulated. The research part of the paper presents results of research which verify mathematical model presented in analytical part of paper. What allowed the credibility formulated mathematical model.
Results of the work have been used to determine the influence of geometrical parameters of the sleeve on the value of the axial forces. Formulated and verified model will be one of the starting points for the design and construction machine for the compaction and granulation of dry ice.
